This morning I made a choice that felt like power in its quietest form:
I canceled the call.
I felt the pull of obligation, the old version of me that would have pushed through exhaustion and misalignment just to show up for appearances.
But instead, I listened to my body and spirit and chose rest.
What surprised me was the peace I felt in that decision.
A ripple of relief. It was a reclaiming of energy, a reminder that my life does not need to run on other people’s schedules.
I am learning that saying no is a sacred yes to myself. Today, I chose sovereignty over performance. I chose to honor the quiet voice that whispers, “Wait, not yet.”
